For the Alicante area, the payment dates for the Council taxes, IBI, have changed!
It used to be on direct debit in September, but now the annual debit is set for 29 of October 2021. If by the 30th or 31th of October you do not have the debit on your bank account, please contact us!
You pay the annual council taxes (IBI in Spanish) in the whole Alicante County Area (except Javea and Alicante city these have different dates) to the town-hall. In the county of Alicante this is done by the company called SUMA.
For the Murcia area the tax dates for payment to be taken by direct debit are:
Los Alcazares & Mazzaron 06/09/2021
Fuente Alamo, Fortuna & La Union 20/10/2021
San Pedro del Pinatar 20/08/2021
Torre Pacheco 02/07/2021 and 02/11/2021, depending on the payment plan
San Javier 21/04/2021 and 22/10/2021, depending on the payment plan
Calasparra & Mula on 20/10/2021,
Off course exact debit dates can vary a bit per bank, as not all debits are processed immediately by all banks. Also most town-halls in the Murcia Area have specific rules and dates for payment plans that you might have subscribed to, the payment dates may vary in that case.
General rule is if within 3 days after the dates mentioned, you have not had the debit shown on your bank or paid the receipt yourself at the bank, contact us so that we can look into it.
