Local taxes to pay the coming months in the Alicante and Murcia area.

Local taxes are due soon, in many areas the term starts in March 2026 and ends in the begining of May 2026.

The local taxes due now in most area are road taxes and garbage taxes. In some area´s in Alicante the council taxes are due in this period.

For the Alicante area, all towns except Altea and Alicante city, road taxes and garbage taxesare due between 5th of March and 11th of May. The local taxes in the Alicante country are adebited by the SUMA.

For our clients we have set this on direct debit on their bank accounts. The debit date is 4th of May, so, if by the 5th of May you do not have the Suma debit(s), please let us know so that we can apply for the invoice and get it paid manually.

For the Murcia area, the towns of Caravaca, Calasparra, Los Alcázares and San Pedro del Pinatar are debited by Carm, Agencia tributaria region de Murcia. Here the link to they payment dates of all Murcia towns the Carm office handles.

San Javier and TorrePacheco town hall have their own tax offices for local taxes.
