Corona Virus Measures Update.
Suma changes final payment date for municipal taxes.
Due to the general state of alert Suma has decided to change the final payment for voluntary payment of the municipal taxes from 8th of May to the 5th of June 2020.
The taxes due now are for example the road taxes 2020 and the garbage taxes* in the whole county of Alicante (except for for example: Alicante city, Santa Pola, Javea and Alcoy, they have a different payment systems).
Not all towns debit the garbage taxes through the Suma, some of them (like for example Orihuela) debit the garbage in equal parts through the quarterly debited water bills, in that case there is no change in payment.
Alicante city has as latest date for payment of the council and garbage taxes 2020, 30th of June 2020.
If you have the taxes on direct debit, this payment date will not change, debit date is end of April 2020 for now. As always, if by the 5th of May 2020 you do not see the debit of the garbage or road taxes on your bank, contact us by e-mail so that we can look into this.
For now the Murcia area there are no changes for now, debit date as usual around 20/04/2020, final date between end of April 2020 and end of May 2020, when we here any changes we will announce here. Download here the calendar with all payment dates for most of the Murcia area ordered by town.
*Garbage taxes terms depend on the town-hall, if it is the first semester payment of year payment.
