Garbage taxes to pay in the Alicante area.

Garbage taxes are due soon in the Alicante area, it is usually debited in 1 or 2 installments.

For the Alicante area, all towns except Denia, Alcoy, Javea and Alicante city, garbage taxes are due between 5th of March and 11th of May. The local taxes in the Alicante country are debited by the SUMA office.

Please note that some towns have 2 garbage debits, 1 for regular waste collection, to be paid for all properties and another for green/garden waste collection, to be paid by owners that have a property with a garden or outside area.

For our clients we have arranged direct debits for the local taxes on their bank accounts. The debit date is set by the Suma on the 4th of May, so, if by the 5th of May you do not have the Suma debit(s), please let us know, so that we can apply for the invoice and get it paid manually.
